Florida Legislative Affairs

The Office of Legislative Affairs supervises and coordinates the Department’s legislative agenda and assist in developing effective legislative policy initiatives on behalf of the department. The office also tracks and assesses the impact of legislation effecting the department. The unit also assists in solving constituent issues for legislative and government offices across the state.

Additionally, the office manages the planning and budgeting programs for the department including preparation of the Legislative Budget Request (LBR) and the Capital Improvements Program (CIP) and development of the Long Range Program Plan (LRPP).
